Some times you suffer in silence. 15 cycles. For the first 3 years of Ayla’s life it was focusing on her, our business(es) and taking care of my grandpa who has moved in with us. Ayla started asking for a sister (thanks to Frozen as she didn’t really know about them before that) and at first I laughed it off, but about 13 months ago I realized how difficult it is to be an only child, to have no one in your life besides your parents and I really didn’t want that for Ayla, to just constantly be alone. We’ve been down this horrible road now for too long. My obgyn has recommended Seattle Reproductive Health, but with Paul and I being/turning 35 and Ayla turning 5 this year, it just doesn’t seem worth it, as well the thousands of dollars. So I finally share that I have suffered for all these months in silence and it’s finally time to just give up. (Lots of maternity clothes, baby clothes and items available and will be posting over the next few weeks)

Oh lord y’all, I showed up to my daughters parent orientation and was the complete black sheep! How do you start a conversation with parents who are different? Do you get along with them? I felt like I didn’t belong and that is one of the worst feelings you can feel. I hope they don’t treat my little differently than any other kid just because of how I look. We are starting at a Christian Pre-K (which will not be named) and I am so nervous!

Yesterday we decided to fully take advantage of the nice fall weather by taking a 5mile hike to the top of Mt. Baker too see the glacier. Beautiful doesn’t begin to describe this place. The glacier is so much bigger than any photo can explain. What are you doing before fall rolls in and the weather changes? @ Mount Baker

It only took me until 8pm to realize today is September 1st. Wow this year has just speed on by. What are you most excited about for fall?! Are you a pumpkin head? Sweater hoarder? Or do you just love to watch the leaves change? Up here in the PNW it’s been warm but the trees are turning orange. For me it’s just one step closer to Halloween. @ Whatcom Falls Neighborhood
