It's the shape of this shirt that does it for me every time. 💚

Our 100% Merino Wool Travel T-Shirt is back, and this time we have a brand-new color: FOREST! 🌲 Plus, Outer Coast Blue is back after selling out of our first small batch before we even had a chance to properly announce it.

I love the relaxed boxy shape, the just-right sleeve length, and how beautifully it drapes. It's one of those shirts that looks great with jeans around town AND of course performs on the trail.

You know you’ve made something good when your teenager actually wants to wear it. 😆

This is my son in the Alpine Fit Men’s Merino Wool Long Sleeve, scrambling around on rocks and putting it to very good use on a fall day in the mountains.

I love that he’s keen to wear this! There’s something pretty fun about seeing your kid head out on an adventure wearing something you designed!

It’s made from super soft 18.5-micron merino wool, so it’s very soft, warm when you need it, breathable when you’re moving, and naturally odor resistant (which, as the parent of a very active kid, I can confirm is a useful feature 😂).

We designed it for hiking, backpacking, skiing, traveling, and all kinds of outdoor adventures, and obviously it works pretty well for scrambling around in the mountains with your family, too.

For outdoorsy dads, sons, partners, friends, grandpas... really, anyone who loves getting outside in all kinds of conditions. This is such a good layer to have along.

If you have someone in your life who loves being outside and could use a really great merino long sleeve, this one is a favorite around here. 💚

A sewing machine in Alaska and a whole lot of gumption! 💚

In the beginning, it was me in Alaska sewing prototypes, testing fabrics and fits, making changes, sewing another version, and figuring out how to turn my ideas for better-fitting, versatile outdoor clothing into Alpine Fit.

A LOT has happened since then!

Now we have production partners making Alpine Fit gear, a warehouse with shelves filled with it (well, we’re low stock on a lot right now, but still!), an amazing little team behind the scenes, and people wearing Alpine Fit all over the country for hiking, backpacking, running, traveling, skiing, camping, paddling, biking... and all the adventures in between.

The thing I love the most is seeing all the places you take it. Getting tagged in your adventures, seeing Alpine Fit out on the trail, hearing which pieces you wear over and over again, meeting some of you in person, and hearing that you told your friends about us.

Thank you for buying our gear, sharing your adventures with us, telling your friends about Alpine Fit, and being part of our outdoor community. There is lots more to come! 💚

Another Pitchfest in the books, and what a time! 💚

Pitchfest is always one of my favorite events to come back to. Alpine Fit was a Pitchfest winner in the early days of our business back in 2021, so getting to return, reconnect with friends, meet new women founders, talk about our businesses, share ideas, and see what everyone is working on is pretty special.

This year I had the opportunity to mentor three of the finalists, and I loved getting to know them and their businesses and then watching them get up there and pitch! In no particular order (I went for alphabetical!): .nation

All nine finalists had such interesting businesses and products, and there was so much energy and excitement around what everyone is building.nation .co

A huge congratulations to this year's winners , , and !! 🎉 I can't wait to see what comes next for all of you.

And somehow we packed even more into the two day event. I got to reconnect with so many friends and fellow founders, participate in an on-location photoshoot workshop, and bring some of our future Alpine Fit collections and colors along to show the Title Nine buying team. 👀

I came home with lots of ideas, lots of photos, and feeling really excited about all of the women and businesses I got to spend time with.

Thanks for continuing to bring this group together and create opportunities for women-owned outdoor brands. Already looking forward to the next one. 💚

We asked you what you want us to have in stock, and I absolutely loved reading your answers.

Bring back the Sterling Travel T-Shirt! More Rendezvous Ridge with hoods! A merino wool hooded shirt! Bushwhacking leggings and pants! More FastPacker Fleeces! More colors! There were so many good ideas, including quite a few things that have me thinking… 👀

But then we got to the last question on the survey: “Is there anything else you want us to know?”

And this was the part I wasn't expecting. 🥹

So many of you used that little box just to leave us a kind note. You told us you love your Alpine Fit pieces, that they're in constant rotation, that you appreciate what we're making, and to keep going.

We read every single response, and I really can't tell you how much those notes meant to us. We sent out this survey because we genuinely wanted to hear what you want us to make and have in stock, and came away with SO many great ideas... and a whole lot of very unexpected encouragement, too.

We notified the two randomly selected winners of Alpine Fit gift cards directly to their email inboxes. 💌

Something fun is kicking off now... and made me think about our own beginnings. Some of you might be curious (or not?! lol)

I started this brand because I dreamed of gear that fit. Fit my body, fit other people's bodies well, and fit my adventures and my real life. Sometimes I need it for a simple morning trail run and I want it to be the same gear I can rely on for a long stretch away from home carrying everything I need on my back (or in my kayak or packraft).

There is something about thru-hikers and ultralight gear heads that just get the whole philosophy behind Alpine Fit. Every ounce matters, every piece has to earn its place, and nothing gets carried just because it looks good. That mindset shaped how we design everything, even the pieces that never see a summit. If it does not perform, it does not make the cut.

So what's happening?

We are so excited to be part of the 8th Birthday Giveaway this year. They embarked on their journey the same year I started working on fabrics and prototypes for Alpine Fit. We are contributing prizes including gift cards for a Fastpacker Fleece, Nordic Anywhere Merino Wool Hat, and Merino Wool Lined Headband, three pieces that live in my own pack on every trip and embody what our brand is built on.

The leaves are turning and there's one piece I keep coming back to every single fall.

The concept for the Rendezvous Ridge Long Sleeve is where this whole brand started, and this season is exactly what it was built for. It layers easily under a jacket on chilly mornings, cuts the wind well enough to wear on its own, it feels soft, and breathes. The silver in the fibers of the fabric keeps it odor-resistant through more adventures than you'd expect between laundry days, and it dries fast so sweaty mornings don't transition freezing in the afternoon.
