Fun fact: I haven’t bought wrapping paper in years. Here a little carousel of eco friendly (and fast!) ways I wrap my gifts.
1. Textiles: vintage scarves, handkerchiefs, pretty fabrics, tablecloths
2. Premade gift bags: I’ve been given a few over the years and I often find them at the thrift store.
3. Pretty boxes: we don’t have a lot of storage space so I only have a few of these but I store all the fabric wraps in them the rest of the year. I probably bought these 8 years ago.
4. Santa sacks: I found both of these at the thrift store this year and they are perfect for big or bulky items.
I also save gift tags each year, as my kid’s names don’t change 😉. Ribbon is reused over and over, and fabric scraps fill in the gaps.
How do you wrap your gifts?
