Busy Bees New and Gently Used Children's Clothing and More. . . New and gently used children's clothing (NB-Teen, Maternity & Women), shoes, toys, baby gear, gifts, and more! But we struggled to find a name.

You may have heard of us, even shopped at our store, but have you ever wondered how the name of our store came to be? In 2009 we chose to become foster parents, something we are passionate about and continue today. We want to make a difference in a child’s life at a time when they need it most. To date, we have shared our home with approx. 43 children, from infants to preschoolers. Our very first

placement was a set of 5-month-old twins and their 4-year-old sister. They certainly kept us extremely busy as little ones do! We decided to open a quality children’s clothing store to help parents keep their children in stylish, yet practical and affordable clothing. We brainstormed and came up with names like Kids Closet, Cute Bees Children’s Clothing, and Grow With Us but we couldn’t settle on anything we really liked. The 6-year-old had always had a love of nature and being outdoors and then one day it came to us. The kids’ last name began with a B and since these kids kept us jumping that made us think of nature’s hardest worker, the honeybee. It all fell together, and Busy Bees was born.

​Today Busy bees enables us to continue being there for children and their families in yet another way, providing quality clothing at an affordable price while making it easier for families to cloth their children. We would like to invite you to stop in today and let us help cloth your children for less. We’re located in the Old Fire House on Rockingham Street in Bellows Falls.

Make sure to stay cool, drink plenty of water, and take breaks from the heat when you can.

If you need to get out of the heat for a little bit, we are OPEN today and the AC is on! ❄️ Come cool off, browse around, and say hi.

When we moved to 3 Westminster Street, our goal was simple — create a space that is welcoming, organized, affordable, and easy for families to shop.

From newborn through teen sizes, you’ll find everyday basics, name brand pieces, and those unexpected treasures that make shopping fun.

Along with clothing, we also have:
