Nothing says “fun day at work” like finding out your shipment is on a truck going in the wrong direction.
We once made custom lunchboxes for Dirty Heads that were headed to a show in San Diego. When the original trucking company missed the delivery, the plan was to pull the shipment so another carrier could grab it.
Instead, it kept moving. Just...the wrong way.
What followed was the kind of logistics scramble that makes a normal shipping delay look relaxing. Rock-it Cargo tracked it down, turned it around, and got those lunchboxes to the show in time.
And this is exactly why we keep talking about lead time.
Your merch may be finished, but it still has to get where it’s going. Holidays happen. Carriers get backed up. Trucks occasionally develop their own travel plans.
The earlier we start, the more room we have to handle the weird stuff before it becomes your problem.
