Success and luck don’t need to be in the same sentence. At least not in our case.

Being a business owner means you have to make a TON of sacrifices. When everyone else is planning their holiday parties, I’m in the thick of my busy season with no days off. When I hear bad news, too bad, the store still has to be open. Instead of attending fun events, I’m busy setting up for them hoping it will be a good turnout. Somebody makes a last minute shift change? I’m the one who has to pick up the slack. Vacations for me are market trips. When everyone else is snowed in, I’m fighting Mother Nature to get to the store because work has to be done.

Business owner life is so glamorized online. While it does have some massive benefits, it comes with its hardships just like everything else.

Boutique truths - the funnest things about owning a boutique 🩵🌙

While owning a boutique may be hard, it’s also one of the funnest things I’ve ever done in my life. From building customer relationships that will last a lifetime, to being a part of such a supportive community, to shopping for a living 🤪 the fun outweighs the long days, the hard work is always worth it, and I can’t imagine doing anything else!
