Have you ever watched a show and seen an actor, or listened to the radio and heard a voice, and said "I KNOW that voice", but couldn't quite place it? Well, that's probably the case with our entry into this weeks "Monday Mournings" actor Joe Silver, who died on this date in history in 1989 AND on a Monday.

Silver's voice was so prolific, he was known as the lowest voice in show business; so low that when he speaks, he unties your shoelaces. He appeared in over 1,000 tv shows and films, from the 1960s through the 1980s, until his passing from liver cancer.

Sorry this is a day late, we were busy at an industry trade show yesterday, but hey, better late than never, right?
This week in "Monday Mournings" we look back at the life of Andre Stander, a unique South African criminal in that he was a police investigator that would sneak out and rob banks on his lunch break, and then come back in the afternoon as the investigating officer. Stander died on this date in history in 1984, AND on a Monday.

Stander robbed over 30 banks in his career and after being caught and imprisoned, he managed to escape prison, start a gang, and was eventually killed by police in a shoot-out. This was one bad dude!!

This week in "Monday Mournings" we look back on the life of Salvador Dali, perhaps one of the most famous painters and sculptures to ever live, who died on this date in history in 1989 AND on a Monday.

Dali needs no real introduction, as his expansive artistic repertoire included film, sculpture, and photography, in collaboration with a range of artists in a variety of media. His painterly skills are often attributed to the influence of Renaissance masters, and His best-known work, The Persistence of Memory, was completed in August 1931.

Wow, 2016 was a BRUTAL year for celebrities, one of the worst ever on record. That's why, this week in "Monday Mournings", we're doing something a little different, and looking back on the celebrities we've lost in 2016, and while not necessarily on a Monday, these are all greats which we've lost over the past year.

Debbie Reynolds, Carrie Fisher, Alan Thicke, George Michael, John Glenn, Zsa, Zsa Gabor, Nancy Reagan, Florence Henderson, Gene Wilder, Leonard Cohen, Janet Reno, Garry Marshall, Anton, Yelchin, Muhammed Ali, Gordie Howe, Christina Grimmie, Prince, Doris Roberts, Patty Duke, Gary Shandling, George Kennedy, Harper Lee, David Bowie, among many others. Let's hope 2017 is a more forgiving year for all!!
