Next Saturday, May 9th, we will be celebrating our store’s 10th anniversary!
I started selling my handmade creations in 2010. It took six years to build my skill set and a lot of courage to finally open our brick and mortar shop. Ten years later, a lot has evolved, but much has stayed the same, too.
I still offer our #1 selling items: our goat milk soap, essential salve, and popular shea butter. While my original recipes haven’t changed, I’ve branched out to include whipped tallow, shower steamers, and perfume roller balls along the way. We still love offering gem mining for all ages, and permanent jewelry has been a fun addition!
I love that my boys have been so involved in seeing their mom do what brings her joy and a living while also making their own memories here. This old building is a part of us in so many ways; at one point we even lived upstairs, and my oldest friend ran the best pizza business just one room away!
So many special memories have happened here, and I’m really excited to celebrate this big accomplishment with all of you.

Just a little photo dump of what’s been happening in the store! And yes… I rearranged again 🤦‍♀️ (iykyk). I won’t promise it’ll stay this way, but I think it’s going to work great for 2026.

This May we’re celebrating 10 years in business! I’ve been planning special giveaways, sales, and fun ways to celebrate. I can’t wait to see it all come together.

Brian has been 3D printing custom holders for my essential oils and I’m obsessed with how they’re turning out. I also named my bath bombs after the full moon names, Silly but strawberry moon actually smells like strawberries and buck moon smells like a man 😍. I also started making spoon rings which I’m pretty excited about.

I had a little mishap with a drill this week… reversed it, it caught, and the battery smacked me in the head. Four stitches and a black eye later. proof I give blood, sweat, and tears to this job. 😅

One thing that has been heavy on my heart and mind especially after I got to see some of my loyal customers this week reminded me how special this community is. The conversations, the support, the way you show up year after year it means more than you know. As I plan our 10-year celebration, I’m also putting together special gifts for some of my top customers. I can’t wait to celebrate with you all. 💕

2016 was a pretty pivotal point for our family. We opened Beeyond with no plan, no money just the hope that everything would work out. I had barely any inventory at that time and really we just kind of went for it. It’s crazy to look back on these pictures and see how far the store has come, how big our boys are now, how fast the time has gone by. This year we are celebrating our tenth year. It’s been the best thing. Maybe not every year was good one but they all came with something we needed to learn along the way. Once the weather breaks, I’m really excited to be sharing this milestone with you all.

🪐 As I reflect back on this past year I would title this chapter “Highs and Lows”. In my professional life we had our best year in 9 years of doing business, and personally concerning my son’s health some serious lows. I’m grateful for it all. We’ve learned so much, we are stronger together and the store is still a space for me to create and meet so many amazing people and of course all the familiar faces. ☯️This is the yin and yang of life, where growth and release happen side by side. 🌟 I hope you all have a wonderful new year. I know I’m looking forward to turning the page. ♥️ Thank you all for your love and support in all the ways you’ve shown up.

As many of you know, our son Oliver was diagnosed this past May with Type 1 Diabetes. This chronic condition has brought significant lifestyle changes for all of us but especially for Oliver. Our biggest challenges include nighttime lows, rapid blood sugar drops, and the frequent failures of the very technology we rely on to keep him safe.

After extensive research, we have made the decision to move forward with getting a Diabetic Alert Dog. These highly trained dogs provide an important extra layer of protection. They can detect dangerous highs and lows before medical devices alert us, giving us precious extra time to respond.

The process is long and very costly. Training a dog to this level takes a minimum of 14 months, and the overall expense is far higher than we ever expected. But we truly believe this will be a life-changing source of safety, support, and confidence for Oliver.

We created a GoFundMe to help with the cost. If you feel led to support Oliver in any way, even if you can't help financially sharing his story would make a huge difference.

It has taken me a while to find my footing again. Life has a way of carrying us into storms we never saw coming, and yet somehow I have been held up by kind souls who stepped into my roles at work, and by friends and family whose love have been a quiet shelter. We are still at the threshold of this new chapter, the finger pokes are barely healed, but together we are holding up well.
I feel ready to dip my toes back in, and I’m excited to see what will surface. Just in time for my favorite season. 🍂 Bee well friends.
