My daughter Grace, looking radiant on her wedding day
We purchased the ivory Georgette several months ago but she wasn’t sure how she wanted her dress to look - she only knew she wanted it to look soft and flowing. In the meantime I made a practice version of a princess seam bodice so I would have a pattern that fit her. Three weeks before the wedding she finally found an inspo photo!! And I had my work cut out for me. She wanted soft gathers across the bodice. I had created something similar before and knew the theory of how to make it work. But there were quite a few late nights and redrafted versions before it came together!! She was getting really nervous that she would have to wear a thrifted dress!! The dress was finalized five days before the wedding.
