Tonight is the night! The final performance of the Emberlight Festival! It has been a terrific season! Get your tickets now for "Something Wonderful" staring Bessemer native and international opera star Miles Mykkanen, acclaimed pianist, conductor, and music director Adam Rothenberg, along with celebrated musicians The Broadway Strings - is a sweeping celebration of song across genres, generations, and traditions. We are so thrilled to be back on the stage of the beautiful Historic Ironwood Theatre. Tickets are available at the Emberlight Festival office, across from the Carnegie Library in Ironwood or at emberlight.org. The bidding ends tonight at midnight for the photography auction, so now is the time to get those bids in and take home a beautiful original canvas piece of artwork. We will also have our Emberlight Festival branded merchandise available at the show. Tonight will be the last night to bring home a piece of the festival. Lets make tonight another sell out crowd! I want to talk Emberlight Festival for today's post. We are down to our last 2 nights of the International Film Festival at Theatre North, and Saturday night's performance "Something Wonderful" at the Historic Ironwood Theatre with Miles Mykkanen , Adam Rothenberg, and The Broadway Strings is going to be amazing! Tickets are going FAST and can be purchased at our Emberlight office (across from the Carnegie Library) in Ironwood or at emberlight.org . You can also take a bit of Emberlight home with you. We have branded merchandise available at all performances or at the office. Thank you all for making the Festival a success and let's finish this season with more sell out crowds!

CAUTION, long and personal post! I waited for certain words through my life, like "will you marry me" or "it's a boy", well yesterday we got to hear words that we were hoping, praying, and waiting for since my sweet momma's journey began! Your cancer FREE!! She was able to ring the bell to many cheers, claps, and tears!! So that (along with her total shoulder replacement) was the reason Edie Stockhaus has not been around the shop much. But she asked me this morning, when I want her to work, lol. So with her blessing, I am sharing this photo taken after she rang the bell!! I am so VERY proud of her and how she has been able to navigate this journey. She has SISU, so help me congratulate Edie!! And to anyone else on this journey, may you be blessed to hear those beautiful words, "you are cancer FREE!"
