Here is a little behind the scenes story. A few days before the Liberty Band departed for this incredible trip, I was contacted by a family asking for a last minute pants alteration for a bunch of teenage girls before they left for vacation. I simply couldn’t say no. I completed the project on Monday morning literally hours before they were to leave. Out of curiosity I asked where they are going on vacation, and that’s when they told me one of their four daughters was a Majorette in the Liberty High School Band and they were on their way to London to watch them perform.
So very cool!!!!

Besides being Prom Season, it’s also First Holy Communion Season. I feel extra privileged to work on this little beauty’s dress. May God bless her as she grows into the fullness of our faith. 🙏.
This dress has a scalloped lace edge at the bottom so to keep all the detail intact, I shortened it from the waist. It was about a size too big so I also took in the sides for her. She looked so sweet when she tried it on at her final fitting and twirled around to show off 🤗.
Nothing makes me happier than having a little girl feel like a princess. 💝.
