I am very happy we’ve got a new, locally owned coffee place. I stopped at in Monticello this morning for an iced turtle mocha.

Sometimes I stand back and look at this place and have to remind myself to take it all in.

Because it’s easy, when you’re in the middle of the long days, the hard decisions, the constant problem-solving and the never-ending to-do lists, to forget just how far you’ve come.

But tonight, I’m proud.

I’m proud of this place. Of what it has become and everything it has taken to get here.

I’m proud of my staff—the people who show up, work hard, care about this place and our customers, and help carry this dream alongside me.

I’m proud of this community. For continuing to walk through our doors, shop small, tell your friends about us, cheer us on, and remind me over and over again why I chose to build something here.

And honestly… I’m proud of myself, too.

That one is sometimes the hardest to say.

There have been plenty of moments when it would have been easier to give up. Days when I’ve questioned myself, wondered what I was doing, or felt like I was carrying more than I could handle.

But I kept going.

This little corner of the world has my heart all over it. It’s not perfect. The journey hasn’t been easy. But it’s mine—and I am so incredibly proud of what we’ve built here.

So tonight, I’m just taking a minute to appreciate it.

My place.
My people.
My community.
And the person I’ve become while building it all. ❤️

I’m really, really proud.

It’s going to be BEAUTIFUL today!!! Stop out for our Crafted in the Community Event from 10-3 to get your hands on fresh, baked sourdough!!

Good morning! Happy Saturday! I'll be at PS: I Love You Minnesota Crafted in the Community Pop-up today with freshly made sourdough bread. Angeline's Table will also be there with homemade jam. I also heard that there will be those Nee Do dumplings available at 10 AM.

I spy, with my little eye: DUMPLINGS!!!

They will be available tomorrow morning at 10am and are first come, first serve (no holds) situation, BUT we can tell you in real time how many we’ve got available.

We have Glow in the Dark and the Ultra Rare Collectible Steamer Series options tomorrow, no little guys (but I ordered more of those as well).

If you’re coming right away in the morning, we have our Crafted in the Community event going on from 10-3pm with some incredible, new vendors!
