WE WANT YOU UNDER THE STARS! ✨🌙
We are officially putting the finishing touches on Under the West Texas Sky, and we’re looking for a few more amazing local businesses to join us in the heart of Downtown Big Spring on September 26th!
This night has been nearly THREE MONTHS in the making, and watching the community rally behind this idea from the very beginning has been absolutely incredible. What started as a little idea for a community movie night has grown into an entire evening downtown, and we cannot WAIT to see it finally come to life. 🥹🫶
We’re currently looking for:
🍔 Food trucks + food vendors
🛍️ Local makers, artists + shopping vendors
🎨 Activities + interactive booths
🎶 Entertainment
✨ And anything FUN that would add to the night!
And because the entire purpose of this event has always been to bring people together while supporting the local businesses that make our community what it is…
VENDOR SPACES ARE FREE 🤠
No booth fee. No percentage of your sales. Come out, set up, meet the community and make some money.

OKAY BIG SPRING… Movie Night got a little out of hand. 😂🌙🍿
What started as “let’s put up a big screen and watch a movie together” has officially turned into a whole evening, and I am SO excited to finally start sharing everything we’ve been working on.
Saturday, September 26 at Heart of the City Plaza! 🤎
Come early because we’re starting the fun HOURS before the movie:
💦 5 PM | Water Balloon Fight with the Howard County VFD
Come prepared to get wet 😂 More details on this + some other fun with the VFD coming soon!
🛍️🌮 5 PM | Local Market + Food & Drinks
Come hungry, shop local and hang out! I’m also opening a limited number of additional vendor spaces for makers, boutiques, bakers, food + drink vendors and other local businesses. Applications are open now!
🎸 6 PM | JR McNutt LIVE
Grab some dinner, wander the market and hang out while JR plays for us before the movie!
🍿 FREE POPCORN + WATER while supplies last!
🎬 8 PM | MOVIE TIME
Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and settle in under the West Texas sky. 🌙

The movie itself is getting a little update too. Now that this has grown into such a family-friendly community evening, I’m thinking we let YOU GUYS vote on what we watch. I wanted this to be more than somewhere to go watch a movie. I wanted people to come out, eat together, support local businesses, meet their neighbors, listen to music and just enjoy being part of this community.
And somehow… that is exactly what it’s turning into. 🥹
