The making of a painting. This one I named “Backwards hat JB, Missoula”. This 20”x24” is a mixture of acrylic paint with brushes, oil pastels, and colored pencils. Although I did not attend the Missoula shows, my dear friend Mary Jordan Watson who is an amazing photographer got so many great shots of JB from the rail. For me, this photo took the cake…I had to paint it. I started it 11 days ago and easily have over 40-50 hours in it. It feels so good to be painting again! Widespread Panic
