so… why is this skirt $228?

it’s a fair question — and one we think is worth talking about.

when you’re used to seeing $20 skirts, a $228 price tag can feel like a lot. but the price of a garment tells you more than what’s on the tag. it reflects the materials, the labor, the craftsmanship, and the people involved in getting that piece from an idea to your closet.

the hue skirt by Rujuta Sheth is made from 100% silk organza, hand block printed, and handcrafted in india through fair-trade production.

so we’re breaking down what goes into the cost of ethical clothing — because understanding the price is part of understanding the piece.
