So this is my free PSA to any and all Etsy shop owners. Go right now and set up a two-step authentication for your account. Someone hacked into my account, cancelled all my orders, and closed my shop. People can be unnecessarily horrible, but luckily I now have access. It's embarrassing and frustrating to have to explain this to customers, but I have always been and will continue to be as open and honest as possible. I'm taking deep breaths and working on bringing everything back to order in the shop. Hopefully these fairies I've sewn up can fly off to their homes soon! 💫

Well summer break has officially started for us, and we went to visit the Birmingham Zoo this past weekend to kick it off. We have a hiking trip planned soon, but besides that, lots of days expected to be at the pool. Do you have any fun plans this summer?

Thankfully Sally was not as destructive as she could have been, and she was even nice enough to bring in a cold front. It was 72° today so we opened up all the windows and doors and enjoyed every minute of it. Fall officially starts in Tuesday, but we're already drinking the pumpkin spice coffee creamer over here! ☕🎃

Do you have a weekly family ritual? We usually try to have a playdate every Friday night with the cousins that begins with an after school treat and usually ends with some Cajun cooking. We do not discriminate against any yummy foods though as next week is a full turkey dinner, but living in Alabama and so far from extended family, anything that tastes like home is what we crave. Tonight was shrimp etouffee, and I'd say that was a good start to the weekend. I hope y'all's is relaxing and full of good food!

My studio area desperately needs a good purging and organizing, but I'm over here just sewing and adding to the piles of unfolded fabric. I finished an adorable new pants design, even if I do say so myself, so look out for it on the website if you're needing warmer clothes for the changing seasons!
