I hit half a million views on a video.
Half a million.
And honestly, that number made me stop and think.
We spend so much time waiting for our friends and family to support us that we forget support doesn’t always come from the people who know us.
Sometimes the people who push your work the furthest are complete strangers.
That’s why I always say a share is free. It takes all of two seconds to put someone’s work in front of people who may have never seen it otherwise. You never know who needs what they’re creating.
So if you believe in somebody, share their work. Tell somebody about them. Tag them. Recommend them. It costs you nothing, but it could mean everything to them.
And if the people closest to you don’t…
Keep creating anyway.
Because I’ve learned that the people assigned to your purpose may not be the people who have your phone number.
Half a million views reminded me of that.
And to every single person who watched, shared, commented, followed, or even just paused long enough to watch… thank you. I don’t take a single one of you for granted.
