I cannot help but feel SO BLESSED and thankful every time I feel this little miracle move. 💕🤰🏼🙌🏻 This time last year I never would have dreamed that I would be up and moving as often as I’ve been able to be. I never would have dreamed that I would be making it to church EVERY SINGLE WEEK, and not only getting to GO but WALKING the whole time, AND most days making it to lunch with family afterward. I never would have dreamed that pregnancy would be the thing to allow me to be MORE MOBILE. I never would have dreamed that today I would be so close to meeting my precious daughter... a child I hoped and prayed for, but the plans for whom I had long ago set aside because of my health. The thing I did have this time last year was HOPE and TRUST that God is GOOD! I knew that His plans for me were far better than my own, even though I was afraid and hurting and I couldn’t see the shore. I knew that His timing was perfect timing. I knew that He wouldn’t let me drown. I continued to pray for healing, for peace, for comfort and joy even in the midst of suffering. I cried out and I struggled and I waited on the Lord.

Let’s talk about the incredible human being that is Sean Layman. Today is his birthday! But that doesn’t stop him from being thoughtful and caring and willing to put others before himself with the BEST attitude. We started off the day with me up at the crack of dawn hungry and nauseous, so he made ME breakfast in bed. Then woke up a second time to our dog Gus throwing up, so he listened to crazy dog mama and inspected it first and then cleaned that up. That’s right, before lunchtime Sean made his pregnant wife breakfast in bed and cleaned up dog vomit - happy birthday! 😬🤣🤷🏼‍♀️ Things are ALWAYS crazy and unpredictable around here, but Sean can roll with the punches with so much grace, kindness, faith, patience and silliness. I am so thankful for this man as a best friend, partner, husband, caregiver, and now as the father to our precious little girl! He doesn’t always see his own worth, but he’s the most wonderful human being I’ve ever met and he deserves the WORLD. I honestly couldn’t be more proud that he’s mine. We are so blessed to have you, Sean! May this be your BEST year yet! 💕🎂🎉🎈 Having so much fun on a date night eating DELICIOUS food with you!
