Good news! It’s not the end of the world if you get so caught up having fun at the hot springs 🥵 that you forget to take off your rings 🤦🏻‍♀️. The sterling silver will polish with wear or you can bring your pieces into the shop for a shine up ✨. As always, you should be careful ⚠️ about exposing any of your stone pieces to water 💦 , as different stones have different porosity and can experience color change with water contact.

Introducing an Idaho Original! Wild Horse Jasper found in the Owyhee Mountains on the border between Idaho and Oregon. Nothing says horse 🐎 girl era quite like Wild Horse Jasper🤎!

🐴 While there may not be specific ancient myths directly associated with Wild Horse Jasper, jasper in general has been revered throughout history for its protective and healing properties.

🐴 This stone is thought to provide emotional support, aiding in the reduction of stress and anxiety. It is often used in meditation practices to enhance focus and inner peace.

🐴 Often featuring a mix of browns, tans, and creams with intricate, almost landscape-like patterns Wild Horse Jasper has a distinctive look that resembles the coat of wild horses, which is how it got its name.

Let’s talk about our favorite secret neutral - turquoise! 🦋

🔹 Did you know Turquoise is primarily made of copper?! No surprise then that there’s quite a few copper mines in AZ and NV too.

🔹 Symbolism/Meaning: Protection, prosperity, and spiritual enlightenment.

🔹 Nevada mines the leading producer for American Turquoise. Most southwest Turquoise is already mined out with exception of Nevada and a few in Arizona. (One of our silversmiths recently visited a turquoise mine and you can see some of her pictures in this post!)

🔹 Turquoise is December’s birthstone

🔹 Turquoise can be more expensive than diamonds!

🔹 There are more than 30 varieties of turquoise!
