WAREHOUSE ADMINISTRATOR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Warehouse Administrator roll is a unique position within a fast-paced warehouse. The skill set required for this position is unique, in that this person will need to bridge the gap between customer service and our fulfillment staff. Although a significant amount of this position is spent behind a desk, a good portion of the day is spent in the warehouse. Candidates will be trained on our fulfillment, shipping, returns and customer service processes, and if offered the position will be required to perform each of these functions periodically. They will also use our proprietary back-end system and eCommerce platform system to research order/inventory information. Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to:
β’ Critical Thinking and Decision Making
β’ Communicating with customers across multiple online marketplaces
β’ Use of email, marketplace messaging, chat client, & telephones
β’ Calculating pricing and return rates
β’ Process returns within each marketplaces' regulations and timelines
β’ Oversight of issues requiring critical attention including: postage issues, bad addresses, no movement, can't find, inventory issues, etc
β’ Assist with shipping and fulfillment of customer orders
β’ Maintain a safe and clean work environment
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
β’ Typing speed of 40 wpm preferred
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
β’ Basic math skills
β’ Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products
β’ Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
β’ Able to work both on foot and seated for long periods of time
β’ Capable of lifting 25 pounds unassisted
β’ Reliable mode of transportation
β’ Advanced knowledge of Excel and Outlook is preferred
β’ Understanding of e-commerce retailing preferred
β’ High School diploma or equivalent preferred
β’ 1-2 yrs previous eCommerce customer service experience preferred
Candidate must be organized and able to take direction for daily duties, be goal oriented, and be comfortable working in a high paced environment. Successful applicant must have an energetic and positive attitude, and be able to work both independently and as a team. Opportunities for overtime and advancement available. Full Time position may be an option for the right candidate.
Job Types: 32-40 hrs per week, Flexible schedule (examples: 4 x 10 hr days, 5 x 8 hour days) Flexible start time between 6am-9am, overtime available when there is a need
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
