As America celebrates 250 years this year, I’ve found myself thinking about what “home” really means.
I’ve lived in Bloomingon 35 years…It’s where I raised my kids. It’s where they’re now raising my grandbabies. It’s where I’ve spent the last 25 years building small businesses and the last 18 helping families celebrate with fireworks.
Owning a small business isn’t always easy. There are good years, hard years, long days, and plenty of moments when you wonder if you should keep going.
But every summer, you all show up.
You stop in to tell me you’ve been buying your fireworks here for years. You bring your kids…and now some of those kids are bringing their own children. Those moments remind me why I keep doing what I love.
As we celebrate 250 years of our country, I’m grateful for the freedom to build something from the ground up and for a community that continues to support local businesses like mine.
Thank you for making Bloomington my home and for letting my family be a small part of your Fourth of July traditions.
Happy Independence Day, and I hope your celebration is filled with family, laughter, and a sky full of memories. ❤️🤍💙
If you haven’t picked out your fireworks yet, I’d love to help you find something your family will remember for years to come.
