🍀🇮🇪HAPPY ST. PATRICK’S DAY🇮🇪🍀
Saint Patrick’s Day was made an official Christian feast day in the early 17th century and is observed by the Catholic Church. The day commemorates Saint Patrick and the arrival of Christianity in Ireland, and, by extension, celebrates the heritage and culture of the Irish in general. Celebrations generally involve public parades and festivals, céilithe, and the wearing of green attire or shamrocks. Christians who belong to liturgical denominations also attend church services and historically the Lenten restrictions on eating and drinking alcohol were lifted for the day, which has encouraged and propagated the holiday’s tradition of alcohol consumption.

🕎🕯️HAPPY HANUKKAH🕯️🕎
Hanukkah is a Jewish festival. It’s observed for 8 days and nights, starting on the day of Kislev according to the Hebrew calendar. The festival is observed by lighting the candles of a candelabrum with 9 branches, commonly called “menorah” or “hanukkiah”. One branch is typically placed above or below the others and it’s candle is used to light the other 8 candles. This unique candle is called the “shammash”. Each night, one additional candle is lit by the shammash until all 8 candles are lit together on the final night of the festival. This festivities include singing Hanukkah songs, playing the game of dreidel and eating oil-based foods, such as latkes and sufganiyot, and dairy foods. The name “Hanukkah” derived from the Hebrew verb meaning “to dedicate”.

🪷🪔HAPPY DIWALI🪔🪷

Diwali, or Dipawali, is India's biggest and most important holiday of the year. The festival gets its name from the row (avali) of clay lamps (deepa) that Indians light outside their homes to symbolize the inner light that protects from spiritual darkness. This festival is as important to Hindus as the Christmas holiday is to Christians.

DIWALI IS CELEBRATED OVER FIVE DAYS:

DAY ONE: People clean their homes and shop for gold or kitchen utensils to help bring good fortune.

DAY TWO: People decorate their homes with clay lamps and create design patterns called rangoli on the floor using colored powders or sand.

DAY THREE: On the main day of the festival, families gather together for Lakshmi puja, a prayer to Goddess Lakshmi, followed by mouth-watering feasts and firework festivities.

DAY FOUR: This is the first day of the new year, when friends and relatives visit with gifts and best wishes for the season.

DAY FIVE: Brothers visit their married sisters, who welcome them with love and a lavish meal.
