But what’s party day like? We show up 30 minutes early to set up all materials for your party with a tablescape for boys or girls! We walk kids through decorating anyway bag and artwear, everyone gets a squishy for their bags from our ball machine, cupcake decorating, and a finished artwear piece to enjoy! We clean up everything we brought and say goodbye!⁠

The thing I’m not afraid to admit about my Crafter Dinner Club idea.

It’s something I’m sure most businesses go through when they start a new venture or try an idea.

It was a total flop when I first started. I had 1 person sign up for a 3 week course. I actually lost money that month. Honestly, it sucked and it made me question my idea.

I decided to stick with it and ended up finding a new venue site. It was a perfect marriage because they had been looking for a new offering for their clients kids and had a direct email line to subscribers. The added bonus was the community knew me a bit and trust was there from the start.

My first class there was triple the first amount of participants in my “flip” class. Then, we hosted again, that class doubled and now our third class has tripled again!

I guess the moral of this story is that keep pushing yourself to see an idea through if you think it has the potential to become something. My silver lining was working at a different venue, yours could be one small thing that hasn’t come your way yet!

Party planning can feel overwhelming as a parent. We are constantly inundated with mega parties hosted by huge party planning firms and we can feel obligated to give that to our child.

Those can feel like unattainable goals! Don’t get sucked in to that.

I know what your child wants!

Besties, creativity and fun! That’s it!

We can plan a 2 hour party with structured craft time where guests are engaged and the birthday kid feels special, creative time with diy cupcakes, and semi-unstructured game time to laugh and play.

If there is no squishy machine at your birthday are you even living?

I saw someone n a reel I watched have a machine like this for their outdoor events and I new this would add some much fun to my parties!

I use it at a transition when I want kids to place their swag bags off to the side so I can ready the table for the main crafting event!

The kids get a special coin, line up and crack open their eggs to reveal the squishy’s. Once the line is finished, I am ready and waiting to start going over directions for the patch bar.
