Wells County Prom Dress Exchange

A community outreach program assisting to make prom affordable for local young women. The dates for our 2022 Prom Dress Exchange are here!

Friday - March 11, 2022, 4 P.M. - 7 P.M. Saturday - March 12, 2022, 10 A.M.-12 P.M. It will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Bluffton (325 W Washington St). We only ask for a $10 donation. If you are interested in volunteering or donating prom/bridesmaids dresses, please let us know. We are especially in need of plus size dresses. Please share our page with anyone who could benefit from this program!

We gratefully accept donations of gently used formal dresses and accessories throughout the year at the Wells County Foundation.

👗 Behind the Seams | How We Organize 500+ Dresses

Ever wondered how shoppers are able to find the perfect dress during the Prom Dress Exchange? It starts long before the event.

Every donated dress is carefully looked over, sorted by size and organized on racks so students can easily browse styles that fit them best. It's a big job, but taking the time to organize everything helps create a stress-free and enjoyable shopping experience.

When the doors open, our goal is for every student to feel like they're shopping in a boutique—not digging through piles of dresses.
