It’s crazy to say this, but today marks 9 years since I started making clothes.
From printing my first shirts in my closet, making $7 an hour as a high school dishwasher in 2016 to creating woven art pieces that end up bringing my family name across the world ~ currently all 50 states + 41 countries and counting. This has truly been the wildest journey of my life. I couldn’t be more grateful for it.
When I first started, my whole purpose was to make people feel not alone.
It was a brand all about mental health, using clothing as a reminder that we’re all going through something, that connection heals, that wearing a message can mean more than words, talking to people everyday to let them know they aren’t alone.
Over the years, that vision grew.
I transitioned into using my name on clothes and began making conversational pieces around pop culture, rock, rap, movies, and TV shows, clothing that made people talk.
And somewhere along that path, God found His way into it all.
Now every piece I make is about faith, about meaning, about connection.
It’s about spreading God through clothing, about people wearing something that sparks conversation, that inspires belief, that reminds you of purpose.
It’s about the moment someone tells me they met a like-minded person just because of a hoodie. That the compliments they receive from wearing these pieces make their days better.
It’s about the atheist who buys one and says it made them think.
It’s about having that reminder sitting in your closet, that little symbol of something bigger than yourself.
I’m grateful for every person who’s been part of this. For every order, every message, every conversation. You’ve helped me build more than a brand, you’ve helped me find my why in this lifetime and you’ve helped me build a mission. We’re going to change the world with clothes.
Here’s to the next chapter.
To better design, deeper meaning, and continuing to spread faith through artwear. I love you all, thank you 🙏🏽
