DON’T TREAD ON ME.🐍

A little history with your headwear…

The Gadsden flag dates all the way back to 1775, when Christopher Gadsden designed the yellow flag with the coiled rattlesnake and those famous words: “DON’T TREAD ON ME.”

The rattlesnake had already become a symbol in colonial America…peaceful when left alone, but more than capable of defending itself when messed with.

The message was pretty simple:
Leave us alone and we’ll get along just fine.

250 years later, that attitude still fits around here pretty well. 😂

So we figured we’d put a little American history on a Richardson 112.

Yellow if you like the original look.
Leather if you like yours a little more dressed up.
(Both 3D textured snake)

Fun. Fun. Fun.

When one local small business supports another local small business… well, things just click.

We were plum tickled to be the ones who got this design laid out, and brought to life on shirts, garden flags, and koozies celebrating one of those little places that makes Monroe County special…Juliette, Georgia.

And if you haven’t wandered around downtown Juliette lately, you probably oughta fix that.

You’ve got honey, fried green tomatoes, BBQ, pie, tintype photos, little shops, souvenirs and Lord knows what else. Basically, everything you need… and a whole bunch of stuff you didn’t know you needed until you got there and somehow left carrying it.

If you’re local and want one of these, ya best get yourself downtown and see Andrea at River Lens Photography (the little red building) and get you one.

And if you ain’t local but want a little piece of our neck of the woods here in Monroe County, Georgia, well… I feel pretty certain she’ll ship ’em out to wherever y’all call home.

That’s the good thing about small towns and small businesses, we’re just folks supporting folks, everybody trying to make a living, and having a little fun while we’re at it.

AND YES… before the Bolingbroke crowd gets their feelings hurt and starts hollering, “Well, what about us?!” 😂

The “sister city” style BOLINGBROKE shirts are coming soon.

Those will be made to order, which is Southern small-business language for:

“You pre-pay, and THEN we make your shirt.”

Because I love y’all dearly… but I don’t need 47 extra shirts in sizes nobody wears stacked up at the shop until 2032 🤷‍♂️🤣

We keep hats AND patches in stock, so you can pop in, pick what you like, and leave with a fresh hat without waiting three weeks and consulting Congress.

And for Adams sake… we hammered out some duck camo, along with a clean khaki & white for those fancy “date nights.”

My babygirl loves the Lord and wanted to “do her own thing.”

So here we go… Faith & Bows is officially taking orders for her first round of shirts!

🩷 Pink for the girls
🖤 Black for the boys… because black shows less dirt, and boys apparently consider dirt an accessory.

Youth sizes are the focus, BUT if you’re an adult and want one too… well, she’s got ya!

$25 SHIPPED anywhere in the U.S.
$18 LOCAL PICKUP

And since Dad managed to turn this into Homeschool Economics 101:

Purchase the shirts & supplies
+ Print time
+ Packaging & postage
= Expenses

What’s left = Profit

And part of that profit has to purchase next month’s stock for the next design.

She’s learning pretty quickly that “I made $25” and “I profited $25” are two VERY different things.

Her plan is a Monthly Shirt Club, with a new design created solely by Catie each month.

And because Economics 101 also teaches us that Dad is not a bank… 😂

ALL SHIRTS MUST BE PREPAID WHEN ORDERED.

No preorders without payment, because she has to use those orders to purchase the shirts and supplies to make them!

A little faith. A little creativity. A little business lesson.

Ladies… I know it’s hotter than the hinges of, well you know, but eventually Georgia will remember it’s supposed to have seasons and you’re gonna need a sweatshirt.

Guys… keep the sun off that noggin with a Dawgs hat.

And yes, it apparently works backwards too… for those of y’all who turn the brim around then put sunglasses on to keep the sun out of your eyes. 😂

Seems like the hat already came with a solution for that problem, but hey… you do you.
