The only RAGBRAI we've been to was in 2018 & it was my first year in business. Here we are pictured in Colo, Iowa for our first ever huge event. I was physically shaking I was so nervous/anxious for this event.

Well I'm excited to say we are going for round #2❗️This year; so many years later I am just filled with pure excitement.

I dropped the ball on a license 😲 {perhaps the first one in my 9 years in business that was directly my fault}.
I was met with grace & understanding by the City Clerk & City Council. This is why I have towns I ✨️prefer✨️ to work with. I'm a human, everyone on the city councils are human, every city clerk is a human; humans make mistakes. A wave of relief rushed over me when I saw the email with a potential solution. I carry the stressors of Small Business with me throughout every day & every task. I do not like "failing" 🙅‍♀️ but I own up to it when I do.
To the people that showed me grace- I hope the underside of your pillow is always cool & your coffee is always hot. This thumbs down is for me but I hope you have the best week of your life. 🫶
