Early Childhood Learning Center Director

The ECLC Director’s role includes recruiting, hiring, and developing staff while evaluating their performance and ensuring youth are in the best care. The director should possess the following: good communication skills, confidence to lead and coach staff, and the ability to maintain positive relationships with state licensing agencies.

We seek a candidate who will represent the Y in a positive light while building meaningful relationships with parents and children.
While being responsible for the overall operations of the daycare, the candidate must be able to be a licensed director of a childcare facility for a minimum of 99 children in the State of Missouri.

We request that candidates hold at least an associate's degree or equivalent in a related field.

This is a full-time position with a competitive starting wage based on the candidate's experience.
