A reliable ruler, sharp rotary blade and good cutting surface make it easier to repeat the same accurate cut again and again.
Remember,
Accurate cutting isn’t about being perfect, it’s about being consistent.
Use the same ruler line, viewing angle, and cutting method for every piece, and you’ll make those seams and points much easier to line up when it’s time to piece your quilt together.
A little extra care at the cutting table can save a lot of frustration at the sewing machine.
