The first thought of making toddler bed sheets happened back in 2008 when my toddler twin boys needed sheets, and I had such a hard time finding them! And when I did find some at a garage sale, the top sheet would always slip right off...pointless. So I figured I needed to do this myself! The idea of flannel came along in 2009 when my sister from Cleveland asked me to make a couple of flannel top
sheets for my little niece. I fell in love with the flannel design options for little ones...soooo cute! and sooo soft! perfect for babies!! My sister encouraged me to sell some of my creations. I started on ebay and craft fairs....then etsy in 2011. I love the whole process of crib sheet making! My favorite part is the fabric search, I get so cutified (overwhelmed by cuteness;) Least favorite is the washing/preshrinking, ironing & cutting. My serger makes the sewing process so much easier & seamless;) than in the beginning with only the regular machine. Once the sheet sets come together, I get cutified all over again and want to keep them for myself!! I love the thought of little babies & tots all over the country & world sleeping on my sheets! Blessing little children....let's call that my mission... for now:)
