A rare instance where McAvoy’s entire name is in capital letters with no superscript C.

While this one features twill lettering and sublimated twill numbers that are stitched in to the jersey, the gameworn jerseys in the Olympics had name and numbers that were only heat-pressed and were not stitched.

While bizarre, it is a trend we’ve seen in the past few years with international gameworn jerseys.

A unique jersey Bourque wore for 3 seasons as co-captain with Rick Middleton from 85-86 through 87-88.

Slick Rick wore the C on the home whites while Ray wore the A. And on the roads they switched and Ray would wear the C.

Then on December 3rd, 1987, Bourque infamously took off his number 7 jersey to reveal 77, as Phil Esposito watched his 7 head to the Garden rafters.

More than just a football shirt. 💙🎸

Manchester City’s special “Definitely City” kit was co-designed with lifelong City supporter Noel Gallagher to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Oasis’ iconic debut album, Definitely Maybe.

The colors, wave patterns, and overall aesthetic all draw inspiration from the album cover, blending two of Manchester’s greatest cultural exports—its football club and its music.

The kit was worn exclusively in select European matches during the 2024–25 Champions League campaign.

And for me, there was only one name worthy of the back: Kevin De Bruyne. One of the greatest to ever wear the shirt. đź’™
