Taking care of your mental health isn’t selfish. It’s necessary. ✨
I struggled with my mental health for years, long before conversations about mental health were as openly accepted as they are today.
Over time, I had to learn something the hard way: constantly grinding, never resting, and trying to give 190% every single day can eventually catch up with you.
You can burn out.
You can become mentally exhausted.
You can lose yourself while trying so hard to keep everything else together.
That experience is part of why I created 2incourage.
I wanted to create something that could remind people to keep going, while also reminding them that taking care of themselves matters along the way.
Ambition is important. Working hard is important. Showing up for the people you love is important.
But so are you.
Rest when you need to rest. Set boundaries. Give yourself room to breathe. Check in with yourself, even when everything on the outside seems fine.
You don’t have to wait until you’re completely drained to start taking care of yourself.
Your goals matter.
Your responsibilities matter.
But your mental health matters, too. 💫
Make sure you take care of the person carrying all of it.
❤️ If this message speaks to you, share it with someone who may need this reminder today.
