GRAND SLAM TEE ⚾️
I'm so glad I got to test for Claire Jackson again - this tee is so cute and will definitely make an appearance at upcoming Boston Red Sox games! I actually finished the final touches on this piece while waiting for my wedding hair + makeup 😂
I've decided to use my own yarn for any test projects I do so that I can keep making samples for myself! For this project I used the Dancing Queen Collection on Kitten DK 💃🏻

WHISKER LINE 🧶
I've dyed some skeins on my new Whisker Fi*****ng and Whisker DK bases and I want you to see the difference! In the first photo, I have "Local Coffee Chain" on Feline Sock (left) and Whisker Fi*****ng (right). Feline Sock is high-twist, with superwash merino and nylon. Whisker Fi*****ng is 100% non-superwash merino. You can see that the color is equally vibrant on the Whisker bases, although the orange and pink blend together a bit more than on the superwash bases. In the 2nd photo, Kitten DK is on the left and Whisker DK is on the right.
I'm excited to add these to my shop after my summer break ends next week!

🧶 BASE INFO 🐑
Since I'm on summer break, it's a great time to tell you about the yarn bases I have available! If you're paying attention, you'll notice that I have TWO new ones, Whisker Fi*****ng and Whisker DK, which are non-superwash merino! Some of you have been waiting for this and I'm happy to provide 😘 I source my yarns from Yarn Undyed who only use fibers that are produced ethically. All merino fibers are mulesing-free, alpaca fiber comes from family-owned Peruvian farms, BFL fiber is certified by the British Wool Marketing Board, and mohair is sourced from South African farms meeting high environmental and ethical standards. I'm very proud of the bases I've curated, and I'm excited tor you to get your hands on the Whisker line when my shop is back online!

☀️🌿🌊🦞 Claws Out is on its first ever summer break! My shop is closed now through July 5th and will be open again on July 6th. A lot is happening during this break! I'm getting married, spending time in Maine, and my partner has a birthday. I'm so looking forward to spending lots of time with my loved ones and also just... being still 😂 don't worry, I've also booked a massage for after the wedding.
I have lots of yarn in stock, so let me know what colors you have your eyes on 👀 and I'll tell you what quantities are available! Enjoy the start of summer 🏖️🐚👙

🚨💜 My second-to-last update for this project! I'm so proud of myself for knitting this wild and wonderful shawl, but never let me take on another giant lace project again 😂 my legs are sore today from this blocking process but it's going to be so worth it when my mom wears it to walk me down the aisle! I used 2 packs of blocking mats and 100 T-pins to get this thing shaped correctly. To everyone who said I couldn't do it, look at me now!

I hope everyone had the best Knit-in-Public Day yesterday! Getting to go to the Boston Red Sox game with my local yarn stores was SO much fun, not only because we beat Texas 6-3. Being around fiber people is my favorite thing, and it was great seeing multiple people using my yarn! I got to debut a new project using "Sweet Caroline" on my Feline Sock base which will come in handy at future games I attend this summer. Thank you to Boston Fiber Company, Stitch House, and Tight Knit Roslindale for putting together such a lovely day ⚾️🧢
