MAY THE FOURTH be with you today!

Met a fellow maker (why didn’t I get her name?!) this weekend at Open Studios, who is learning to sew from her grandmother. YES. We talked fabrics, and things to make, and she picked out this Button VNeck, and knew both references. I gives me hope for the future!

Today is a the perfect day to share the news that Elisabethan skirts are now available at MAYFLY, a shop featuring designers who ALL make upcycled fashions!

It's important to recognize progress to keep us motivated & hopeful - there is greater awareness of the environmental impact of the garment industry AND is driven in no small part by the amazing creativity unleashed by my fellow upcyclers… I don’t think that word really even existed when I started this 30 years ago…!

Find .bus in The Garage at 36 JFK St, Cambridge, MA!
And I rode a Blue Bike there to deliver the goodies!
