Found these carved jade medallions hiding in a bucket at a table at a gem and bead show and each one I looked at was exquisite. So I decided I needed to make necklaces with all of them! I love working with natural stone…surfaces polished to show whorls of color, telling me the stories of their creation through eons as I work. These were the first necklaces I made…with a lot of help from my Denise.
