Lavender Scent LLC, founded by two Americans of Chinese descent, is thrilled to celebrate January as Chinese American History Month in Washington State, starting from January 2024. This month marks a special occasion, and we owe our gratitude to the American Coalition of Equality (ACE) for their years of relentless advocacy. Their efforts led to the passing of RCW 43.117.130 by the Washington legislature in 2023, a significant milestone for our community.

We were honored to join fellow Chinese Americans in June 2023 at the Bellevue Community Center to commemorate this historical achievement. Our co-founder and tea enthusiast, Xiaohong Tao, delighted attendees by serving premium Chinese teas at the celebration. The event was also enriched with spectacular performances, including Kung Fu, acrobatics, and traditional Guzheng and P**a music.

This January, we continue to celebrate our heritage and share our culture with the community. Cheers to a month of reflection and joy!
