Fairies are said to be angels of the earth: quiet keepers of the forest, tending to everything that grows 🧚🏻

This month, we’re exploring that same spirit through tourmaline, October’s birthstone. From the soft, heart-opening pink, inviting compassion, healing, and self-love, to the grounding, nurturing green, these stones remind us of our connection to the earth and to one another.

Working with the earth’s treasures carries a responsibility to honor them. To consume less, choose with intention, and create pieces worthy of being cherished and passed down for generations.

October is shared by two beautiful birthstones, opal and tourmaline, and for our second One of a Kind drop, we are celebrating tourmaline in all of its extraordinary range.

Tourmaline is one of those stones that almost refuses categorization. It can emerge in shades of pink, green, peach, brown, violet, black and blue, sometimes holding multiple colors within a single stone, which makes sourcing it feel a little like treasure hunting. We followed our instinct toward the stones that felt a little less expected and found six unlike anything we have had in studio before.

This collection spans a dreamy sage green, the most unusual smoky lavender, juicy & peppered pink, warm forest floor-orange and a brilliant green Diamond on Point. Five have already been transformed into one-of-one LOVE SARO pieces, with the final stone soon to follow. Good things take time, ya know?

There is so much more to tourmaline than its incredible color range, from the different energetic properties associated with each hue to the fascinating science of a mineral that can actually develop an electrical charge in response to heat and pressure. We went deep into everything there is to know and love about tourmaline, the significance of where these particular stones were sourced, and the story behind our latest curation in our newest blog post.

One bracelet passed down to two daughters.

Rachel and Krystal’s mom wore a diamond tennis bracelet unlike any we’d seen: intricate, detailed, entirely hers. After she passed, it became theirs. But one bracelet can’t sit on two wrists.

So we asked them each the same question: how do you want to wear her?

Rachel dreamed up a buttery gold band with 8 of her mom’s diamonds. Something she never has to take off.

Krystal kept a section of the bracelet exactly as her mom wore it, then built around it with LOVE SARO chains and charms. A true one of one.

Same diamonds. Same mother. Two completely different pieces, as different as the sisters wearing them.

This is what we mean when we say jewelry is biography. It doesn’t have to stay the way it was to stay hers.

Saturday 10/10 for a day of movement, ritual, beauty, creativity + community, designed to welcome the fall season and celebrate the things that make us feel strong, connected and a little more magical. We’ll begin by grounding into our bodies with JETSET Pilates Boulder Crossroads then carry that energy into an afternoon of adornment, intention, exploration + play.

The day begins at 11AM with a complimentary 50-minute outdoor mat Pilates class led by JETSET, followed by an afternoon of fall magic including:
