License plates from all over the United States, and Canada plus many other International plates available for Hobby Collection. Enjoy! Tom and Margaret

Tom has actively been collecting license plates for 28 years but plate watching has always been in his blood as a natural extension of a love of automobiles and numbers. Colorado plates are his primary collecting interest, seeking Colorado plates of every year and type through trade and purchase. He’d love to have your help with filling in some of his collection holes….check out his Want List for specific needs. Tom joined the Automobile License Plate Collectors Association in 1982 and has been active at both the international and local level. He served as Vice President of ALPCA and was Editor of ALPCA’s magazine. Locally, Tom was Secretary/Treasurer of Rocky Mountain Regional branch of ALPCA for nineteen years. Tom has co-authored three books on license plates. Tom is now retired, and he and Margaret have teamed up to sell expired plates on eBay (Automobile License Plate Store) using the eBay ID of LicpL8s. We sometimes buy collections or accumulations of license plates that complement our current inventory. Let us know if you have something to sell. The best part of these activities has been the opportunity to meet and share information with fellow collectors from all over the world. We know plates pretty well and work hard to provide you with top service.

Popular because it’s uncommon, this Trust Territory of the Pacific Islands (TTPI) plate is specifically issued for the Marshall Islands district. The top text reads "TRUST TERRITORY PACIFIC ISLANDS", which was a United Nations trusteeship administered by the United States from 1947 until it gradually dissolved in the 1980s and 1990s. The bottom text specifies "MARSHALLS", indicating its assignment to the Marshall Islands district before it became an independent nation in free association with the U.S.

A yellow validation sticker displays 1975, marking the active registration year. Notably, 1975 was a critical year for the territory, as it was when residents voted in a status referendum regarding their future political independence.

The plate was issued in Tarija, a southern department in Bolivia bordering Argentina and Paraguay. Have you heard about the 1973 Prince Edward Island “The Place To Be…in 1973 plates? Special plates were issued to ambulances and hearses on the 1973/75 PEI base plate, based on the Passenger Car plate format. According to the ALPCA archives because “the slogan "The Place To Be . . . In 1973" seemed inappropriate for such vehicles, the slogan was omitted from these plates.” Not all juristictions made ambulance and hearse plates. Only about 100 pairs of these Prince Edward Island hearse plates were issued making them highly desirable to collectors.
