What if we are all just trees in the same forest? 🌲

Some tall. Some small. Some crooked. Some wild.

That’s kind of how I think about people. We’re all different. We all have our own seasons, our own weird little ways of growing, and somehow… we still belong to the same forest.

For the Feral Post Founding Members, I wanted to make something that felt like that.

So I painted a forest by hand, then cut it into individual pieces.

Each Founder gets one little piece of that forest tucked into their first Feral Post.

No two are exactly alike. And once they're gone, they're gone.

There are only a few Feral Post Founding Member spots left.

If you want to be part of the very beginning of Feral Post & take home your own little piece of this forest, please do. 🌲

Welcome to the Gaggle.

Thanks FP Founding Member No. 008 (I hand numbered and signed all 40 of these but I am unable to find that clip).

Feral Post is a seasonal snail mail experience for women who feel most at home outdoors. 🌲

Four times a year, you’ll get some radness in your 📬 inspired by life lived outdoors — art, photography, recipes, stickers, surprises, and a little piece of the feral life.

The light is changing.
The air is feeling crispy.
The elk are screaming.
The leaves are turning.
The layers are coming out.
The freezer is about to get a whole lot more interesting.

Happy fall!!!

I've spent a ridiculous amount of time sitting on my ass taking pictures of my bow(s).

Usually when I shouldn't be. Usually covered in dirt. Occasionally with a very questionable amount of mud in places we won't discuss here.

Hunting has a funny way of teaching you to slow down and look at things differently.

The same bow can look completely different from the ground, from a tree, on a harvest, or in dirty hands after a long day.

Maybe that's one of the things I love most about hunting and archery.

It teaches you that sometimes the thing that needs to change...
..
..
..

Is simply perspective.

Photos all taken of the same bow over multiple hunts over multiple years.

Something feral is landing in mailboxes soon! I've been working on this for a bit now and I am pretty damn stoked to send it into the world. 📬
