When I sit down in the evening I doodle on my computer in my embroidery software program and create all kinds of cool designs. Years ago, I started with pen and paper, vellum, chalk and turpentine and hole- punched a traced drawing onto to vellum before I painted the pattern into the fabric to be machine embroidered.
In 25 years so many fantastic changes with computers and technology even enhanced the sewing machine!!
FINALLY

Now I can even make portraits, scenic pics etc and turn them into embroidery. But my favorite works is still creating heirloom “ Tree of Life” projects
Or “ Heirloom Family Roots Wall Hangings”
So my work is work yet can be a hobby!

After a long, crazy busy day, I walk in the house and find a gift box from Ireland. Totally unexpected. What was it ??? a gift from one of my awesome daughters Meghan mark mark ….she surprised me with all kinds of lovely little gifts she ordered from a subscription that came out of Ireland ….that made my day …that made my month.
