Basic Alterations
• Hemming (pants/skirts): $10 (Silky fabrics and sheer fabrics $20. If there is a lining it will $30 for the garment.)
• Taking in or letting out side seams (pants, skirts, dresses): $15
• (Silky fabrics and sheer fabrics $30)
• Shortening sleeves (jackets, shirts, etc.): $15
(With lining involved $30)
• Cuffs on pants (new cuffs): $15 - $25
• Replacing zippers: $20 - $40
(Depending on the type of zipper and garment, example denim jeans $25 silk jacket $40)
More Complex Alterations
• Dress fitting or altering (e.g., taking in a dress): $30 - $75
(This depends on the style and fabric of the dress.)
• Suit tailoring (taking in jacket, trousers, etc.): $50 - $150
(More for high-end fabrics or intricate alterations.)
• Couture or wedding dress alterations: $100 - $300+
(Wedding dresses may require a higher rate due to their complexity and delicate fabrics.)
• Prom dress alterations: $50 - $150
(Similar to wedding dress alterations but generally less expensive.)
Other Services
• Custom garments (suits, dresses, etc.):
