In 2004, a design team of women set out to create something they saw missing from the marketplace: a line that gives women what they really want.

Over 250 boutiques and 5 million loyal customers later, Soma remains true believers in the power of women. When we heard that bras were the most needed, yet least donated item of clothing for women, we knew we had to help. We created the Soma Bra Donation to help women fleeing domestic abuse feel beautiful again. Since 2010, we have collected nearly 2 million bras for women’s shelters across the country.
