This scarf might be my favorite so far, but I have really high hopes for the next scarf in this set as well. I'm dying the yarn for it tonight.

I should note, I do spun really fine, so 4 oz of wool gives me a lot of yards of yarn. The yarn I'm currently using is a 4 ply because I got carried away seeing how thin I could spin without thinking if it was actually practical 😂

Is halloween getting busier ever year or is it just the season of parenthood that I am currently in?

The fifth blanket in the set. This one is shiitake brown, a really pretty greige color.

These northern lights scarves are going to be so beautiful. I'll be making them with at least two different weft options, tencel which is a regenerated cellulose fiber made from wood pulp that has a beautiful shine, and tussah silk.

Getting the northern lights warp wound onto my Leclerc loom. This warp was wound on my warping wheel prior to dyeing. And I don't know if it's just that this tencel yarn is sticking to itself more than cotton, or if I need to make some changes to how I use the warping wheel, but winding these warp sections is going terribly slow. Thankfully this warp is just for scarves and isn't very wide, I only have 2 more to wind.

Now that the weaving is done, it's time to hem these towels

This project could not have gone any better. I'm excited to continue to dye and weave these longer warps. I still have to hem all these towels, but this Saturday is a planned craft day for me, so I will just be ironing and sewing all day. My final tea towel count is 32 so my original math was pretty close.

I've woven 29 tea towels so far and I am almost out of warp. I am so excited to see how this fabric looks off the loom a...
