The Sewing Shop The Sewing Shop A locally owned business specializing in tailoring and alterations for men and women.

We pride ourselves on doing a high quality job from the simplest to the most complex projects. We offer a wide variety of services from hemming a pair of jeans to custom fitting that special outfit . Wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, tux, prom gowns can all be custom fitted at The Sewing Shop.

One of our latest special projects. These were made from a mink jacket.
We will do all types of alterations and repair work, such as zippers, patches, etc.
We will also recover cushions.
Please stop in with your project and we will do our best to help you out.
Keep in mind that we do have a 4 week turnaround at the moment.

We are looking for a seamstress to join our work crew. If you are familiar with a sewing machine and enjoy sewing , please consider stopping in and seeing what we do. We can train you for the particular skills needed.

We are also willing to apprentice the right applicant.

We are a thriving business that can offer a wonderful career opportunity for someone who is creative and has a talent for sewing.

Our pay is 15.00 per hour and we also offer holiday pay and vacation pay after 3 months for a full-time position.
