At our Community Threads Store by CLCL Foundation in Brick Township, we know that pets are family.
That's why we're committed to helping not only the people in our community, but also the dogs and cats who bring them comfort, companionship, and unconditional love.
When Sandra "Sandy" Nasta of the Women's Club of Brick learned about the growing need for pet food assistance among the families we serve, she took the initiative to reach out to to share our mission.
We were incredibly grateful when Chewy responded with a generous donation of dog and puppy food, as well as cat and kitten food, to help local families care for their beloved pets.
To celebrate this amazing gift, our founder, Tiffany deSousa, a dedicated Community Threads volunteer, and two enthusiastic quality-control supervisors—Mazikeen and Pippi 🐶🐶—came together for a special unboxing. Watching the boxes open with bags to fill our shelves was a powerful reminder of how much a simple act of generosity can mean to families and individuals facing difficult times.
Every bag of food represents peace of mind for a pet owner and a full bowl for a cherished companion.
