I started Ebanie & Ivorie my senior year of high school. I grew up on a hobby farm in Brillion, WI and was an active 4-H member in Buchanan Badgers 4-H Club. I started my seamstress journey when I was in the 5th grade and the more I learned, the stronger my passion became. I started to take control of what I was making and how I wanted it to look in my freshman year of high school. I constantly fr

ustrated my sewing teacher with my ideas and concepts and started to drive her crazy with how I wanted things designed. I have won multiple awards in 4-H such as: Silver Thread Award (three years), Golden Hook Award (one year), State Fair Alternate (two years), and State Fair (three years), State Fair: Best Formal (two years), State Fair: Merit Award (two years), and State Fair: Judge's Favorite (one year), Open Class: Grand Champion (three years) and Reserve Grand Champion (one year). In my senior year of high school, I was accepted to Mount Mary University and studied Fashion and Apparel Design. After my fall semester as a sophomore, I decided to change my major to Fibers and was accepted to Savannah College of Art and Design. After one trimester there, I decided that that was not the right decision for me so I transferred to University of Wisconsin- Green Bay to major in Art with a focus in Textiles along with a Certificate of Entrepreneurship. During my time at UW- Green Bay, I had entered a fashion show at St. Norbert College and was awarded Judge's Favorite along with Crowd Favorite. In December of 2019, I was selected, along with other artists, to display two of my creations in the Green Bay Mayor's office. I would also like to thank my friends that helped me with my photos. I have a lot of new people on my page, so allow me to re-introduce myself. My name is Ebanie and I was named after the song Ebony and Ivory-hence my business name. I got married to my very supportive husband in 2024 and our daughter was born in 2026. I learned how to sew when I was 11 years old for 4-H. I have always challenged myself with what I could make. I learned how to work with leather in 2019 and I really enjoyed it. I have continued to create custom pieces along with doing alterations. I also enjoy experimenting with leather and fur and seeing what I can make. In the last month, I purchased a specialty machine that will allow me to sew patches onto vests and jackets while keeping pockets open and usable, along with being able to repair zippers in boots, and a variety of other things. I can sew and alter a large variety of fabrics and items-I have since stopped working on formal wear. I do custom apparel, repairs, alterations, custom leather apparel, leather repairs, leather alterations, motorcycle seat upholstery, purse repair, knife sheaths, zipper repair/replacements, fur repair, and the list goes on. If there is a picture of something you like, I can figure it out (the sweater in the photo below was made because I saw a picture of a sweater similar). I am currently located in the Brillion area.
