The good Lord blessed me with a temperament that will stop well-short of burn-out. When I feel burn out coming on, I simply shift gears into another project, because creating is a must. *How* I create is apt to variability. This week, its sewing. I've made jar-grippers, bookmarks, and glasses cases so far, and I still intend to make scrunchies and oven mitts. I'm using my cotton handwoven fabrics and quilters cotton for backing, and YouTube for learning! 🙃

I made 8 glasses cases today. Sewing with handwoven fabric is NOT easy! I keep learning!

I have a new experimental tea towel on the loom. This one was inspired by a scarf in Handwoven Magazine. I'm using 8/2 Maurice Brassard cotton and Sugarwheel cotton from Yarn Bee (Hobby Lobby). I wanted a thick-and-thin plaid look.

Shipping was delayed for a few days, and I'm so grateful for your patience! The short story is, our AC isn't working.

The long story is, the AC started having problems last friday, and finally stopped working on Sunday. It's over 100 degrees every day, and while we waited on parts for the AC to come in, we stayed with my parents. Came home yesterday to fix the AC only to discover that we still dont have the correct parts. It was 91° inthe house when we went to sleep last night, and 85° when we woke up, so hopefully we can manage to find the right parts today. I have so much work to do! ***Thanks for ordering, friends, and for your patience. Orders will be mailed out today! 🥵
