🚨New craft alert! Chaotically embroidering these beads was so much fun. Ripley loves “Opalite” and this song makes me feel happy squishy feelings about her. She was very excited to watch the progress on this piece and proudly chose where to hang it in her room (above her bed!).

Somehow I managed to whip this up in 3 days without having to buy any yarn! It’s even Ripley approved! Currently we’re just using it for pretend play, but eventually we can play with it as a memory game! Now to make a big decision/ should we stitch Cookie Monster’s face to the lid of the basket? Hmmm…

Finally got around to finishing up this hoop for Ripley’s room. I’ve been singing Sweet Child o’ Mine to her since she was born so I knew that I needed to find a way to bottle it up for her.

I just finished this ginmorous afghan using the Caron Anniversary Cake in Prismatic. It’s like a weighted blanket! This was fun to work up and the yarn is so soft!

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday! I always love making gifts for people every year. This year, I have two nieces under 1.5 years, and the children’s pullover pattern from made the perfect gift for them! I used for the striping and then crocheted the names onto the fronts. The sweaters too big for the girls now, but I can’t wait to see them both grow into them!
