So I had to sew all these little hardware pieces down today to create a radiating side adjustable garter and let me tell you I surprised myself today with my sewing abilities. Here is just a snippet of what my senior thesis is like and I couldn't be happier!

This is an organically draped rabbit fur-felt crown with a flat wired brim made with rabbit velour-felt. It has a french lining with a gross grain removable sweat band which includes a tightening ribbon. The detailing consists of two different types of feather bound together and sealed with a small glass bead, while the decorative removable rope is twisted and knotted with a frog closure consisting of a macrame loop and ball knot closure.

18th Century Men's Corsetry inspired by the use of Corsetry in Armor with functional and collapsible panels to contour the body. Containing 20 panels, 5 yards of lacing, 35 yards of cording, 24 bones, 2 adjustable panels, 4 belts, 3 yards of belting, 5 yards of binding, 30 grommets, and 215 yards of thread. This corset can be unisex and is also inspired by clothing that started as masculine and transfered to a feminine physique over the course of time.
