💙 People often ask how I got started sewing.

I learned from my mom.

Growing up, I spent countless hours watching her sew, helping where I could, and slowly learning the skills that would eventually become my career.

What started as simply learning from her turned into a passion of my own. Before I knew it, sewing wasn't just something I enjoyed—it was something I couldn't imagine not doing.

Today, my mom is still sewing at our Batesville location while I run The Stitchery & Timeline Tux Brookville and continue building the business. It's pretty special knowing that something she taught me has grown into a career I truly love.

From bridal alterations and custom gowns to quilts and one-of-a-kind projects, every piece that comes through the shop reminds me why I fell in love with sewing in the first place.
